How was evidence gathered?
In order to understand whether or not the club would affect student self-regulation, as well as create a baseline for comparison, all students were asked to complete the Rosenberg's Self-Esteem Scale.
This scale measures and quantifies a person's self-confidence through a series of "I" statements. The statements asked include:
In order to gather information directly related to the Zones, students were also asked to identify what each of the zones looked like for themselves, and the strategies that they currently used or knew about in order to cope with non-green zones.
Student behaviour, attitude, participation, and interaction was also observed and noted throughout the time that the club was happening.
